THE PILGRIMAGE FOR 12 YEAR OLDS
Each year the
Shrine of Montligeon organises a pilgrimage for young people aged 12, who
come to make their profession of faith. Its aim : to help them discover that
the profession of faith is a new stage in their Christian life and that the
Church is counting on them.
In 2001, the
Pilgrimage for 12 year olds will take place on Wednesday, 20 June, from 9.30
am to 4.30 pm.
Usually, the day's programme is like this : in the morning, the young people walk to the Basilica and can meet witnesses who put their faith at the centre of their lives. In the afternoon, they take part in a Mass presided over by the Bishop of Séez.
