In the transepts are the altars of the Sacred Heart and St. Joseph. These scenes in mosaic bear the signatures of Barillet and Lechevallier and indicate an attempt to get away from the neo-Gothic and to produce a more creative work. They still have the feel of the art-déco style of 1925 period.
